According to Education Law 316, Teacher Centers are governed by Policy Boards. The Policy Board has the power to make financial and policy decisions in accordance with state and district policies. By law,
policy boards must be composed of teachers, administrators, representatives of post-secondary education, business and community organizations. The law stipulates that the majority of the board must be teachers appointed by their union president. The Policy Board members
are available to answer all your Teacher Center Questions.
